You know you're a writer when...

Carlene Duda
I found this in my file cabinet. I thought you could relate. I'm 9 for 9. Let me know if I nailed you!
You know you're a writer when.....
...you sleep with a note pad and pencil by your bed.
...you can write in the dark with the lights off.
...you carry a note book with you all the time.
...you write on the back of receipts.
...ideas just pop into your head.
...you're talking to someone about something and they say to you - you should write a book about that.
...you mumble-I already have.
...everything sounds like a book title.
...you have a file drawer of "want to be books".

P.S. See you all at Women's Conference this week.

Interesting list. I've got the last ones down but I don't write as much as I should- I do bring my laptop everywhere with me- does that count?

What a good list, Carlene! Thanks for reminding me of a few things I could be doing.

I wish I could go to Women's Conference, but I don't live in Utah, and I'm saving to go to a writers conference in San Antonio in October, as well as the one I'm attending in Scottsdale, AZ in June--just before the 6 7 8 Conference. That's another event that sounds intriguing, but I don't live in Utah. [sigh] So many conferences, so litte time and money.

Yup, yup, yup. I can relate to all those, as well. Some people may think its rather odd to have those unique qualities, but I think they're perfect.
